On alms round the wife of the Chief of the village approach Atma to give Alms. Thought on the "desire" of some lay people, my person asked for the Number of her Husband, but as totally not involved in all his business and alphabetical as well, she pardoned that she would know and them he further more changes his No. all the time.
Walking further, also the wife of the village priest approached for alms. Atma asked after her husband also here and Ta Kan happily came out and tried to help, but had also lost the last current No. But he gave the No. of the Village leader. The No. of him and that of the Village leader, who's son used to guide the first groups of lay people here, before Nyom Chanroth took over this service.
Upasaka Ta Kan, got like always many rebukes. He is very kind and was before a police man, till his father urged him to change the work so not to work out an highway to hell. He is actually a Brahman, like an old child, and a perfect speaker, making always many promises. But he has deep respect of practicing monks and is even able to receive rebukes like today, as he had started to maintain a beard like a sheep, that he should cut that of, this signs a being a big cheater. So he has to be approached very Khmer like and wouldn't do much is no nice form, sound, smell... can be expected. The numbers can be found here:
[Wat] Sambo Antait (Wat Turtle Nest) វត្តសំពៅអណ្តែត, Aural ឪរ៉ាល់, Cambodia He also told to help to get the No. of the landowner in the south, a high PM and trader, who used to tell Atma (as he came back from the walk to Takeo last year) that he will leave the small hill are and forest in the south incl. a street for the Sangha (what he did, but villager closed again), and he is a person who does what he speaks, but possible busy (yesterday pipes of a value of 5000$ burned away. possible the worker who visited the Ashram three days before, didn't forward the danger they where told). His mother was the first person who made Vassa gift and abounded robes. His brother was the first who
spontaneously gave some cement . And the son of his former land overseer, was the person who
donated spontaneously the Tipitaka . Here it's just a matter of talking with each other and surely a good support for good of each other.
As Ta Kan isn't the one who keeps promises, also Chanroth told to try to get the Number of the south land neighbor, so that those wishing to manage something can do without much touching the bondage within the peoples common relations and without touching the Ashram and it's dweller much with common issues.
Good also to leave all open to others and accessible. It's not good if trying to take control over things, even if best meant. The Nissaya and Kamma of single people are all different and no need to get involved everywhere, especially things out of ones range. Informing all with open heart, how ever, is always good, keeping nothing back, so that all have access to possibilities. No need to trade for gains.
Since such issues of ways and land are always men issues, it's also good to leave such issues to them.
Atma thought of leaving that here mentioned.
