Vandami Bhante
It is not very clear how to solve this problem with Gmail.
They don't give specific information about why their filters have categorized mail as spam and how their robots work. One can only guess. There is also no way to appeal. It is all done by machines and they will not assign a humans to look into it when asking.
Google mail users who received mail from sangham.net and marked it as spam in the past would probably be a reason.
But at least apparently not all mail is blocked. It is also not that certain addresses are completely blocked.
As
Danilo had mentioned, he received messages from Bhante to his Gmail account. And for example I can send e-mail from moritz@sangham.net or forumadmin@sangham.net to my gmail address. And there they land in Spam. I can remove them from Spam, and now added both to my contacts. I will add more to my contacts in Gmail. Maybe it helps if many do it.
However, I also tested to send an exact copy of one of the rejected mails (notification about forum post) both from moritz@sangham.net and forumadmin@sangham.net to Gmail addresses, and they were apparently blocked and never arrived. So it seems the auto-learning robot of Google has learnt to categorize forum notifications as Spam.
According to comments on
this question here on serverfault.com , this should be a way to fix the problem: people taking mail out of their spam folder, marking it as
not spam, and adding to contact list. Maybe even replying to it would help more, as I already suggested one year ago, one could do some kind of internal "cammpaign" between Sangham users with Gmail addresses, even though it is like fighting windmills probably.
Maybe just adding sangham addresses to contacts in Gmail is the best strategy for any Gmail user who woud like to help increase sangham.net's Gmail "reputation".
