Anumodana!

Quote from: Johann, message on Lisa
Nyom Lisa. It would be good if helping to find you "uncle", Bhante Ratana Selao. Atma is only short on FB. Nyom can reach Atma via email: samana.johann@sangham.net and is invited to join:

No, Upasika Sophorn. The very slim one, about 50 years old, mosty was next to the Bhikkhu who was once a general. He used to dwell next the Sala of Atma, in a small hut. Upasika had given him some of telefon credit to use, after having heared that Atma used to use his possibilities. You had not much contact with each other. But once again, it you click the link of Ven. Ratana Upasika might remember his face.

* Johann : Sadhu, @Morits for the big effort to add all the links in Atmas Post and helping many by it. Sometimes Atma thinks you can read mind and thoughts  :) of Atma.

May I ask Bhante if Bhante Ratana is the one Bhante whose father was treated by kana and whose son was also ordained at Wat Cham Cha?
If yes, he fell very sick and the old Bhante, the young Bhante and the very straightforward and humble novice took a timeout to take care of him. Kana hasn't heard any new news so far.

Atma does not remember the name of his niece and also not the normal name of Bhante Ratana (nobody would know the Dhamma name). There is a topic, where Moritz fought his first battle to give a Khmer Monk a email adress and account, maybe there is something about his name or in Atmas Kuti .
Not sure, but Atma thinks he is maybe even from Kampong Speu. As he left Wat Cham Cha in Kampong Cham, he thought of going to Sihanoukville because of his "Pollenallergie". He uses to give a list of Dhamma-Vinaya respecting Wats in Cambodia, places he dwelled and uses to dwell since the are only about 50 "good" Wats in the country, possible to stay. You find this list in the Samagii forum "Vinaya monasteries in Cambodia" .
One could also try to ask Atmas preceptor, Ven Sodhammarageto , a contact you find in the Monastic area "kutis extern"   and its good when you try to speak and get more in contact with lok jey Sophorn.
Since Atma is not given a real useable connection, its a little hard for him to give you better links to each other, even you all stand right next to each other and all ways are there.
Just to get sure, did you look also at his Picture (pushing the link ), since even his niece would not know his Dhamma Name.
He is actually Samanera (wrong set here [now corrected]) more then 10 years ordinated, has wife and children, who also ordained (the male children) and is always a great teacher for most of the Bhikkhus and a lover of Bud Sovung, even very conservative, but in this way a good teacher.

Ven. Ratana Selao

He was one of my first fellow Monks, very taught, very much saddha and he had a niece in Germany, of whom he thought and took care much but never found good connection. He would be also more then happy and most skilled to join the Tipitaka work, but for now Atma had lost ways of contact.

Lets see.
