Atma often and again, and again, encourages to do things, when ever possible, or the things one is able to, by oneself.

Order others, contract, money... those things might fit well to momentary inspirations, but do not have the impact like putting an effort of sacrifies.

The thing with money, to speak on it, is that one does not remember how much suffering and sacrifices had been done to archive this "merits" and, if giving into anothers hand, one has not really control about it, whether it's used for harm or not.

When doing by oneself, not only that one can reflect on the connection between Dana and suffering right where it is made, but one can also observe Silas. Something most contractors wouldn't.

The different of benefits is huge. Just may one think on how normally often gained money: seldom there are kusala mind-states which support the sacrifices. Sure, if later letting go that counts as merits as well. But the time archived wasn't. That is different when one does things by himself, with own strength and skills.

Another thing is, that for the time one gets direct involved, one spends his times next with good friend, who would at least ask you "burdensome to make Dana?" and encourage you toward right focus. At least ones is a great sample for many.

At very least, nobody could carry ones efforts away. Done is done.

Who would not easy give say $10. One who would carry sand up a hill or do other works for a day, or say even spend a day with only obersing precpets and do meditation, such is hard to find.

Everybody has skills. So why not use them direct for good purposes. Take, give, take, give, give that other take and possible give...

It's really good to get things known as they are, as they come into being.
