Upasika
Sophorn told a little time ago that she would need a banner of the traditional story of the life of the Sublime Buddha for the soon coming Khmer new year fest in Austria and asked my person how to best gain pictures for such.
Being told that the best way would to ask a Ven. Monk to take pictures in his pagodas Vihara (where this story is traditional pained on), Nyom Sophorn addressed her skilled student, Upasika
You Y , who had learned in the media field, and to ask Bhante
Indannano to assist with his generous knowledge.
On the way the idea grow to make not only pictures but to also instruct the Khmers, of whom are already in the secound even third generation after their grandparents left a culture behind, with a "live life movie" on it.
Today Nyom Y came to talk a little on how, what when to do and as if the vision had been already layed out, it didn't took long to already have a draft script of the movie in her mind. Starting right where she is and inviting the guest on the fest to come shortly to Cambodia, stepping into her car and drive on the country side to visit a monk and asks him on the story, since she likes to introduce it to all here relatives, share her merits with them, where ever they might have found their current existance.
Managed by the two Upasikas alone at this time, after having asked Bhante, Nyom Y will make her fist journey to Wat Akyum, to meet Bhante, take the banner pictures and speak about the "Drehbuch".
Surely professional assistance, if one is into such, might be of help, and if it's just organizing such as a latter to make good pictures at first place, or since she is alone, an "Artist", one who goes on asking about the story. Also assistance, maybe some who know the monastery and people, whould be good, an Alternative this Saturday undertaking learning about the cultures history, most dominate Person.
It may become a very auspicious tiny story, able not only to touch only those relatives speaking Khmer but also other languages, where ever Nissaya to an old live life story may has it's ground.
It was not difficult for here to find the right motivation of dedication and share: a gift for her late mother, ancestors, teacher, all relatives (=all beings) dedicated toward the Sangha, so that many of them get in touch with the Sublime Buddha, guiding toward an end of suffering, sickness, oldage, seperation, grief, decay, death: Awakening
May all rejoice with their undertaking and take part in what ever way, may the Devas not only guide all along but also inform those not touched yet.
