We’re happy to share that teacher Steve Armstrong will be visiting the Eastside sit on Thursday, Feb. 28, as he has several times before.

Steve is a primary vipassana teacher for both of us, and teaches around the world. He and his wife Kamala Masters teach as peers, and together offer the dharma at Vipassana Metta (http://vipassanametta.org/wp/) on Maui.
While at the Eastside sit Steve will offer some teachings and guidance, and answer questions. This is a rare opportunity, so we encourage you to come. Feel free to bring any interested friends.
We hope you can make it on Thursday, Feb. 25. We’ll be sitting at 7 pm, and the address is 7510 117th Ave. NE,Kirkland.
Also, Steve will be offering a talk on Friday night in Seattle, and a two-day non-residential retreat (http://seattleinsight.org/tabid/60/vw/3/sm/422/itemid/613/Non-Residential-Retreat-Understanding-Love-Experience%2c-Awareness--Insight.aspx) March 2-3 through Seattle Insight Meditation Society. That retreat will be at Bastyr University (http://www.bastyr.edu/about) in Kenmore, easily accessible from the Eastside.
Lastly, our friend Santidhammo, the monk who often comes to the Eastside sit, will be a panelistat an upcoming interfaith potluck at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland. The event will be at 5 pm on Sunday, March 10. A flyer is attached. This is open to anyone, and should be an interesting discussion.
