Title: Controlling ones "gifts"
Post by: Dhammañāṇa on November 18, 2019, 09:58:36 PM
Supposed a person tells you something, informs you about something. Then, later on you might share the given: "This I have received, given by him". Later on, that person says: "I haven't given you the permission to share."

Would you have done wrong, would you further be able to take your gift back?

What if one, later on, tries to force you, takes away a gift? Would it count as thief?

What do you think, are the stories, found in the Tipitaka "This I have heard, this was made, told... by him..." possible a collection of shares not permitted from Individuals to be told, tell about them?

Don't reply if wishing to hold control on the further stream of your gift since nobody could redo or change your actions.
