last days,  a rat has found its way into the kuti.

arround midday, that living being usually climbing the trees up near to the top of the roof and then, “noisy sound”jumping down on the corrugated iron roof. finally arrived at its “favorite resting place” straight under the top of the roof.

From this standpoint it has a perfect overview about the area and take some rest. Early in the evening, the rat usually would get off the resting place and vanish in the dusk.

everytime, when Atma is focusing the mind while walking up and down, the rat close its eyes, relax and sleeps.

As soon as Atma stopped focusing the mind, stopped to walk up and down, the rat immediately open its eyes and array its ears. When Atma starts focusing the mind and walking up and down again,  the rat close its eyes and fall asleep again.

thinking about that, the though came up in the mind:

"Who  have got a share of ones own good deeds in mind, speech and body?

When someone gives freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings?

who gain a share of it?

Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammā-sambuddhassa

he gives freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings. In giving freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings, he gains a share in limitless freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, and freedom from oppression.

A limitless number of beings gain a share of this goodness.

In giving freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings, Someone also gains a share in limitless freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, and freedom from oppression.

Even when someone doesn't speak the language of a rat, cat, dog, frog, snake, cow, bird, plant living, ghost, deva, gods, human, german, english, Khmer, swahili, Chinese...

by practicing harmlessness through mind,  speech and body, oneself and a limitless numbers of beings gain a share of this harmlessness.

It is not depending on nationality, language, it is not limited to a special realm of being.

perfection of harmlessness is limitless.

it overcomes all borders in mind,  speech and body.
