Dhammañāṇa: May the rain have been sufficient enough so that nobody would harm being of goodness, now resisting in other spheres, on tomorrow reminder day at least.
Dhammañāṇa: Once totally caught by google, AI and machines, every door has been closed for long, long term.

Dhammañāṇa: People at large just wait that another would do his/her duty. Once a slight door to run back, they are gone. By going again just for debts, the wheel of running away turns on.

Dhammañāṇa: Less are those who don't use the higher Dhamma not for defilement-defence, less those who don't throw the basics away and turn back to sensuality "with ease".

Dhammañāṇa: A auspicious new-moon Uposatha for those observing it today.

Dhammañāṇa: The more freedom of joice, the more troubled in regard of what's right, what's wrong. My person does not say that people at large are prepared for freedom of joice even a little.

blazer: Hope they eat more mindfully than how they talk. It is clear for the gross food, we had more than a talk about this topic. I have put so much effort in mindful eating at the temple, but when i was back i wanted more refined food. I was used to get a choice of more than 10 dishes every day
2023 Dec 10 06:57:44
Dhammañāṇa: A person eating on unskilled thoughts will last defiled, Nyom. Gross food does nothing for purification at all.

blazer: I've had a couple of not nice experiences with monks that were not so pure in my opinion. They surely eat far better than me at temple.
Dhammañāṇa: Spiritual prostitution, just another way of livelihood.

Dhammañāṇa: May all spend a pleasing rest of Sila-day.

[Original post:] Short after almsround, just finished the meal, Nyom Chanroth came up, brought another 60 red bricks and start to carry sand up for the todays load. Just having started to build, fundation for tank and stairway a group of lay-people came. Like often the case, people had met my person on his almsround, later wishing to visit. In this case, the a older Upasika, having heard from the families friend about, desired to visit, guided by here two daughters as well.
Short before reaching the caves terrace Upasika break down, could no more breath well, couldn't walk on, "wait, wait, I like to visit Lok Ta". The families friend, after waiting a little, took here in his arms and then carried her up. Chanroths Stepson who guided them up, had prepared a mat where she could rest while here daughter gave here a foot massage.
Next to all they had spontaneously carred some bags of sand up, having met Nyom Moritz in doing such.
Not long and she was well again, on the cool place, they all enjoined. Having joinfully venerated, having given tonics, having spontaneously joined the outwardly stairway building up to the Buddha with conditions for cement and strength support for the builder, Nyom Chanroth, they then settled more, having made a set of pictures.
Following this a long talk on the countless higher benefit of Sila then Dana, encouragements for developing metta and making Dana, if wished, only on the foundation of Sila, the way of paying back debts to ones parents and how much more understanding of Dhamma arise to give ones own strength and time, doing just work, rather to give money (where the Dukkha behind his far forgotten), to stay aware of Dukkha in all outwardly building, how to develope the Brahmavihara, metta, which has countless more benefit that what ever large Dana... they joyfully left, after having venerated the Gems in the cave, thinking it would rain, what of cause never had happened once visitors are on making merits.
The man then carried another 5,6.. bags sand up.
With the additional effort, the brought up material, it was that the outwardly stairway, next to the foundation, was finished by the start of the screaming of the cicada (sun down).
A good day forward building and join the building for a staiway to heaven, the Buddha, Sublime Gems and beyond.
May all join the merits with the Brahma Vihara mudita and quickly follow the possibility of this preperation upwardly, for most easy walk on and may the Devas inform those who have not been touched yet.
