* Johann : Atma likes to trust that Nyom does well and also bodily healthy?

Sadhu for care Nyom Moritz .

Once systems are created on defiled ideas of being able to control it's just a matter till a huge global disaster will lead to opposite approaches.
Maybe good to just remove the forwards to gmail generally as soon error mails come back.

The linked issue mail, btw. arrived once befor this error flood arrived from one account some days ago.

Vandami Bhante _/\_ _/\_ _/\_

It is not very clear how to solve this problem with Gmail.
They don't give specific information about why their filters have categorized mail as spam and how their robots work. One can only guess. There is also no way to appeal. It is all done by machines and they will not assign a humans to look into it when asking.

Google mail users who received mail from sangham.net and marked it as spam in the past would probably be a reason.

But at least apparently not all mail is blocked. It is also not that certain addresses are completely blocked.

As Danilo had mentioned, he received messages from Bhante to his Gmail account. And for example I can send e-mail from moritz@sangham.net or forumadmin@sangham.net to my gmail address. And there they land in Spam. I can remove them from Spam, and now added both to my contacts. I will add more to my contacts in Gmail. Maybe it helps if many do it.

However, I also tested to send an exact copy of one of the rejected mails (notification about forum post) both from moritz@sangham.net and forumadmin@sangham.net to Gmail addresses, and they were apparently blocked and never arrived. So it seems the auto-learning robot of Google has learnt to categorize forum notifications as Spam.

According to comments on this question here on serverfault.com , this should be a way to fix the problem: people taking mail out of their spam folder, marking it as not spam, and adding to contact list. Maybe even replying to it would help more, as I already suggested one year ago, one could do some kind of internal "cammpaign" between Sangham users with Gmail addresses, even though it is like fighting windmills probably.

Maybe just adding sangham addresses to contacts in Gmail is the best strategy for any Gmail user who woud like to help increase sangham.net's Gmail "reputation".

Master Jikstra gave some hints, possible good for Nyom Moritz to know, here:

The friend replied with these things to be careful about:

 * Dkim signing
 * spf
 * dmarc
If all those dns records are set properly, gmail should not reject mails anymore. If I figure out his nickname I will mention him here :slight_smile:

Pending issue, on delta-chat, seems mostly connected with adding members to a list.

Gotten an error mail this time, listing the added mail-adresses:

This is the mail system at host mail.sangham.net.

be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

Sokh' chomreoun Nyom Moritz ,

Atma thought that look into repeat to deliver setting on own side is maybe first of all worthy to give into, as demanding making ease might not always work.
The decleared focus isn't bad at all, and good.

Vandami Bhante _/\_ _/\_ _/\_

I have not been able to understand much of the DeltaChat logic yet.
But I think it is not an issue with the mail server.

In cases shown where messages were stuck in "pending", as far as I checked, there were no logs on the mail server about any tries to connect and send these messages.
It seems DeltaChat did not even make a connection to the server, and DeltaChat did not retry.

In regard of "pending message", as not only a matter on delta-chat - requiring the delete and readding from and in a group - but also appeared with ather client before, Nyom Moritz , to proce on sangham-server-side:

Is there a setting of how the server processes in regard of failing jobs? Time, amount and timespan of repeating resend till abounding this job? Maybe shorten frequenz and tries could be a solution to block all further.

General, as info: Since ever, dwelling in Cambodia, email sending was an insecure way, often messages got simply lost, never reached the receiver. Always email-server in Germany or Austria had been used by Atma. No experiances with commercial free email-server.

Sadhu. General is possible to dangerous since able to change domain issues and larger setting then just create email addresses and help in gaining access.

Now, after having added 10+ contacts anew in the list (only sangham.net email), the same issue, post pending since hours.

Having searched through the e-mail server logs, there was not even an attempt to send to any of these newly added addresses throughout the day at the time displayed at the screenshot. It seems there was not even a connection made to the e-mail server to send this message from Delta chat.

Having created one email accound and looked around a little in the admin-tool for administer email accounts, Nyom Moritz again gave access, my person wonders, not having seen forward-option, used that one gains a copy of emails send on sangham address to one's worldily address as well, how this is performed now?

When looking at the list of e-mail addresses for the domain, there is on the right a column in light grey "Alias". When clicking on it, one can add alias e-mail addresses there.
Not really all easy to find.

Generally easy to manage, maybe, if Nyom Cheav Villa likes to take on the possibility to create email accounts for Venerables and Upasakas, good to add her as admin for such task. Would Nyom like to be able to help here when needed? At least till possible having auto-creation on demand possibility.

Seen that there are multiple Admin logins possible (I thought before it could be only one), I added samana.johann@sangham.net and villa@sangham.net as admins as well. For the admin login at mail.sangham.net/admin, the password is separate from the usual e-mail password. For now I have set it for all to the same as for the general Admin account.

If telling me what addresses, I could also add.

After test by Nyom Moritz and delete of last added accounts, although old messages nevertheless stayed "pending", new messages could be send. Could it be that one contact can block sending in a group?
