The effects of drugs set aside,

Where do you find these highly skilled meditators?

I've never seen anybody sit without moving beyond 4-8 hours.

I knew one person who revealed that he could sit 8-10 hours consistently for a while, form jhana, and i've heard from someone who knows someone who revealed that he can sit 10-12 hours without moving and doing these sittings back to back as to sit 24+ this also in rupajhana.

Other than this i've only seen for myself one person sit 4-8 hours and doing so consistently day after day but this guy also pissed himself whilst doing so...

Actually i don't know, i think it is difficult.
I'm not convinced meditation sitting length is the only parameter of evaluation. Maybe it is a parameter, personally i prefer to talk with the person about the jhanas, listen to his dhamma understanding and watch his behavior to get an idea of its development.

It is a matter of
1) how much samadhi diminishes
2) the skill of the person

Over a certain point there is so much skill that the mind and the body works truly differently and are differently affected by various kinds of stress, which includes intoxicants. Not only i can speak by direct experience, but years ago i also read a few researches about drugs and highly skilled meditators, which i guess could still be found online.
The most developed are just slightly affected by stuff like cannabis or other psychoactive drugs, on reasonable limits, in ways that are not manifest or significant in their behavior and speech.

Of course cola and smoking has its downsides on health, anyway :-)

Nice to read you had good intentions.
I can understand the faith point and i find it worthy of discussion.

With respect, i was pointing out i'm unsure you truly like him. I mean, not sure you were caring for his samadhi asking people to not send ciga and coca cola.
Also I do not find truth in the statements about intoxicants for many reasons (not the right topic here). Indeed, i was just disagreeing with this with Ven. Johann when i knew him, before coming here, as he had a position similar to yours ( there's a discussion we had on DW ), so i think he's wise in consuming this light intoxicants, and i do not find much fault in it.
