Some days ago Kana/Atma thought about the “walk about” and that is not always sure to have a adequate place to sit. Noticed some old robes and thrown away material and felt inspired to make some nisīdanaṁ, sitting cloth for Bhante
Indannano and other Monks.
Using the sugata span, described as follows:
When a bhikkhu is having a sitting cloth made, it is to be
made to the standard measurement. Here the standard is
this: two spans—using the sugata span—in length, one and
a half spans in width, the border a span. In excess of that, it
is to be cut down and confessed
May it be of good use and sit "everywhere at ease" and in an appropriate way.
