Good reading, never heard about that concept.

No, no... there is no way if always just thinking on consume, good blazer .

I'm actually trying to limit consumption, and to consume what's best, right because i still have to buy my food at the moment.
A tought occured recently "This specific food is too tasty, it generated attachment. I should avoid it.", so the idea of improvements arose.
I do not find faults in looking for info to improve what can be improved and is not out of my reach, may please specify what's wrong?
I think about consumption, goods, food, just occasionally, ideally only when needed, as i see it as defilements.

No, no... there is no way if always just thinking on consume, good blazer .

Grandfather and grandmother Ken and Visakha cite a Sutta by the Buddha, which would at least, those who are lazy in doing efforts, run steady in circle, would lead toward seeking a way out, considering further steady consuming away beloved.

Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammā-sambuddhassa

This was said by the Blessed One, said by the Arahant, so I have heard: “If beings knew, as I know, the results of giving & sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of selfishness overcome their minds. Even if it were their last bite, their last mouthful, they would not eat without having shared, if there were someone to receive their gift. But because beings do not know, as I know, the results of giving & sharing, they eat without having given. The stain of selfishness overcomes their minds.”

If beings knew
what the Great Seer said,
how the result of sharing
has such great fruit,
then, subduing the stain of selfishness
with brightened awareness,
they'd give in season
   to the noble ones,
where a gift bears great fruit.
Having given food
   as an offering
   to those worthy of offerings,
many donors,
when they pass away from here,
   the human state,
go
   to heaven.
They, having gone there
   to heaven,
      rejoice,
enjoying sensual pleasures.
Unselfish, they
partake of the result
         of sharing.

That's a good point to start, if already having found strong confidence into harmlessness, virtue, sense restrain.

If not yet fit living simply on given, good to go after the Brahmachariya , going after near and simple, proper exchanged.

During the last period i wanted to improve sleep and eating.
Since i'd like to make further improvements on eating, may Ven. Johann provide, if possible, a complete online resource on the topic?

Also, since i've found fasting so good for mindfulness and meditation, i would like to ask if it could be considered good to extend the daily fasting period above the 18 hours.I think it would promote extra mindful time.

Thank you very much
