Certain much strive to gain a footing, the two Goenka students asked to leave tomorrow morning for wandering on as used to, at least for the next time.

May all rejoice with their merits done those days, gotten know a way beyond householder traditions, at least a little, yet not something seeming desire-able when dukkha and danger, not seen in house and stand.

Busy Ashram since the two yogis came about. In the morning a family visiting, from Kampong Kmum. In the afternoon seeking refuge at the cool Ashram for a silent place for meditation.

In the afternoon a young "punk", former Novice and nephew of the monk once dwelled here 10 years ago who's poor and drunkenly mother thought he might get a water blessing before going to S.Korea. The young man, smart enough to listen to the heavy advices, possible changes his mind by the encouragements toward gratitude and Sila.

A later arriving young korea-teacher, who drove from the Vietnam boarder in the morning to here, 'just' to venerate, got to listen to this Dhamma talk.

Not 5 min left, Bhante Subhadhammo came down, awaiting further talks on Dhamma.

Soon the others will assembly as well.

Nyom Ratana meanwhile looked for ordaining possibility, yet to ways for really going forth had been end already for most, especially for those have been in trade with trades in Dhamma and outer ways.

A huge fire burned down the last wildness on south neighbors land.

Although exhausted and spend a terrible hot day on flat land, Upasaka engaged into the merely not so known topic in householder traditions, that of 'basic' and required lasting right view till highest goal till far into the night, with a monk using mostly hard to bear language and words.

Thought it's good and proper to introduce the dwelling yogis to the monastic authority here, Atma lead the monks and yogis into the south, meaning 2h + walk without shadow in 35-40˚ .

Some a kilometer south the monastery the elders had to give up and waited on return. A car stopped, coming from north. Visitors who arrived at Nyom Chanroth s house, other Goenka students, and gave alms. Entering the monastery well exhausted with less to share under five, Bhante Sobhanda attentively guided the monastery cook to share.

The yogis in stress had less ideas to introduce themselves proper, certain hungry and exhausted.

The visiting trio, a small handicrafts man and family-like stuff, wished to visit the Ashram and to ask to come to visit them in Phnom Penh to teach people there.

So to get the root lesson on dukkha and cause, Atma invited them instead to walk to the ashram, but they thought to burdensome for them, so only the younger man followed through the deforestation area along the stream, along poor people, cutter, hunter and soon understood the dangers and suffering of sense pleasure and householder-traditions. Understood soon who makes suffering, heat, death.

At the Ashram gotten basic encouragements and introduction on Dukkha, cause and no exit without getting dispassionate toward sensuality first, they returned back. Surely a total different outcome as they thought, thinking to seek for a teacher for their help idea to establish a Dhamma school, and merely disenchanted, encouraged to focus on helping themselves first, for how could one caught in sensuality help others out.

On Visakha Puja two elderly yogis, Goenka students since 10 years, one from Ratanakiri, one from Battambang province, arrived via their friends, used to come here, at Ashram Thmo Duk and took refuge and Uposatha Sila with others on this day, asking for practicing for unknown time here and seeking the going forth as well.

Today morning they joined the alms round and the daily non-busy routine here together with the monks. Some Upasaka, especially Upasaka Rattana, wished to support their seeking for preceptor and help in ordination to dwell as monks here at the Ashram. Both about 70 years meet a different live and more original training for ending suffering here, yet still a lot of work to transform from householder-yogi to one straight following the Buddhas customs.
