Two days ago Upasaka Chanrith asked to go after the undertaking to paven the path up on Upasika Vilā s access land, finding soon to Nyom Vila.

Fortunately the originaly giver, Upasaka Vithou as well a Nyom Vila joined the task and even Upasaka Hong took part and soon also united Nyom Chanroth and Nyom Kiem, who both worked separated for one or another.

Now trying to get also the previous starter, Upasaka keandara into the boat, it seems like the start might be soon, having transported cement to Nyom Chanroths house as well.

Here as starter sharing the blessing by Upasika Vila on it

All seems to be delight to find all "Brahmas", and Devas of creation, and the neighbors, taking physically part, united in this task to make a tiny path through the young forest, step by step with joy and with care for all beings around.

May it be for all part-taker, by strength of body, speech and mind, and rejoicing with them, become a path toward the Brahmas, making their Vihara there firm.

All seems to be happy about the finally quick start today, on monday (usual chosen for start of new things), initiated again now by Upasaka Chanrith , co-powered by many like Upasaka Vithou and Upasaka Hong, who, as university rector is used to win over the five hindrances in adult children as drive and Upasika Vilā as Brahma-deva in the background.

Nyom Chanroth had found two villager sons, one from deva-family north, one from poor family south. Nyom Kiem is incapable of escaping the bond and debt of wood cutting and logging at this time, as most, as they had lend money by those seeking for it, but agreed to help with transport when needing sand.

Sacrificed the day today to introduce and explain borders of own creativity, they are now up to go after harmless and good, and a small pound with maybe an image of Naga king and daughter in the middle might grow as well. As gardener, of course delight in trimming and forming the trees all around.

Using the occasion befor goid sand might be covered, Bhante Khemananda helped to fill up about 15 bags sand and carry them up, for already very needed restorations here and there around the shrine and kutis.

Some impressions of the grow of a pleasing small path trough the last not yet occupied wild.

Nyom Chanroth told that some groups desire to join the work with own bodily effort and might come for it, and of course, who ever sees some delight in spending one or more days in assistance while observing harmlessness is always given to take a good "holiday", better holly-days here, paving the path toward the Brahmas by good deeds.

Short instruction on how to work fast and with ease, the first section is already full in run, today another young man and Nyom Chanroth s wife joined the work.

Thought that the cart has left at Nyom Kiems house, asking him and getting known that he didn't took charge on it, maybe Nyom Vithou took it back again. Surely good if the team would have 1or two large carts for the work.

Short walk down, as rains might interrupt the works, maybe good if having long plastic-foil aside, so that the work wouldn't get destroyed by stronger rains.

Always hard to stay with one pattern, especially to build without corners: round. Something people are usually not able at all.

All joyful on progressing the undertaking, a Villager, who has the habit to go after disturbing and do unskilful, especially on Sila or fest days, started to cut trees on the mountain again.

All encouraged to look after ways to guide him toward harmless undertaking, Atma approached also the village chief, telling him that it wouldn't be proper to let Buddhaparisada sacrifice toward apleasind dewelling while thieves destroy and disturb. Told, the village chief could see the disadvantages and promised to tell the offender to stop his deeds. Also Upasaka Rieng from Pailin said he would stop at the ranger office to forward the again arosen issue.

Let's see if it is possible, by of course required sacrifices by all around, to let the undertaking prosper.

Atma also forwarded that Nyom Nyom still seeks for people to increase their man power and so all would have ways for better, requiring of course Samagii and not just thoughts like "i have a right" or "I can".

Optimistic that all seek for prepearing the base of higher merits, eg. debtslessness in own community and proper works there before able to leave house toward the Brahmas, no challenge better to be mastered as those of clearing one's path out of which nobody else could do for one.

Some impressions of the grow of the pleasing way from hot and dusty village road up into the forestin the shadow of 'gratitude', effects, of what hasn't been destroyed.

Given and forwarding, giving and forwarded... I, Brah Karuna, wishes to bow down to the Sangha and each of it's members, I fold the hands toward all Buddhaparisada here,

Yesterday, the 18th, I and my younger and older siblings (brothers and sisters) gathered to together to work on building the path up to the place of the Sublime Sangha, and I, together with all other, gave alms food to the monks and helped with the street work a little (personal). I met one Upasaka ( Sumdha) who's name I forgot (sorry). He had spend a night there and joined (the undertaking) with 60.000riel for building the path and 20.000 riel for buying another cart to transport cement.

In this way, I like to hold up this Puññakusala that I did yesterday and share it toward the Sublime Sangha as welk to all Buddhaparisadas, so that all can take equal part on this merits of mine.

Conditions and support all around fine this days for Nyom's undertaking, whether good, still nearly no animals, supply also for belly and thirst, the path reaches today already 20-25% (~100m of 400+) of it's total length. Continuing likewise, maybe finished in 2-3 weeks, paving around 25m a day.

Well following all suggested ways of doing, it's realy a nice outcome with most less requirements of material and third part power. Buddhaparisada of all kind joining their deeds in various ways.

Last days rain, today double speed and the whole team, incl. children, joyful in doing, now having also a secound cart.

Already about 50% paved, today 30m+.

Upasaka Chanrith eager and joyful steady reporting the part-taking on the merits and looking over management task.

A third cart was seen as Nyom Kiems house, but all shy to ask about the use.

Having a lot of organic trash, it would be a perfect possibility to make a Dhammic introduction into the skill of composting instead of misuse and harm, if somebody inspired to introduce good use of food instead of waste and burning.

Meeting Nyom Chanroth in the morning, little stressed to keep the ways of doing like told by Atma and some fears of the merits owner, the monks decided to sacrifice this maybe the next days, to help finishing it in ways that all feel not have lost control and to take part. on good deeds.

Today maybe making 50m, in concret, more and reaching maybe 75% of total work. So maybe a week and taking aside another burden.

Atma again encouraged to to not use sand from outside and village street, but use that of the land given, to all again.

At the end ~60m today, at 17:00, and prepeared the last 40m till the first kuti.

But as told, this fast way, isn't really faster, but let more flow into machines, more carelessness and to much stress for all, not so used to more strict work.

So at the end Nyom Chanroth decided to do it as told: by hand, one by one, and using the given sand of the access land.

Nevertheless reason to happy with their efforts today, for all how joined the harder task successfully.

Back at the Ashram, Upasaka Chanrith had completed the path of maybe 450m through the access land up, connecting the common societies with the 'Parithana', the 'wild' and it's ways, in a pleasing and proper way.

Atma finds it's much worthy to share more about the merits done by many here, as soon as space found and meanwhile shars Nyom's dedication he sended via SM (inmost eloquent and skilled way, good to translate later)

In the morning serial groups of families and friends in Dhamma waited in the village and at the accessland, leaded by Upasaka Chanrith , Somvuddhi, Upasika from Wat Bope Krom... and devotedfromthevillage, to give alms.

After verneration, giving of foid, tonics, having taken meal, the lay Buddhaparisa asked for refuge, silas and to give path as well as Solar light for the Sangha here.

Bhante Subhadhammo leading and chanting Anumodana and Paritta.

Later one grooup after another came up to engage a little into Dhammatalks, while Nyom Chanrith and friends planted trees and flowers.

Taking leave as the last group, Nyom Sunheang came to stay 2 days, they then all returned home, incl. Ayya Vilā after 3 week intensive on paths of the old tradition her self, with much reason that her sacrifices longer time ago also effected many others, leading already to "Vila's deer-park" on the foot of the Naga-Raja-mountain, west of Mount Aural (Pi: Udhara).

May all rejoice with the merits done here.

As a king intent on battle
would hire a youth
in whom there are
   archery skills,
   persistence,
   & strength,
and not, on the basis of birth,
         a coward;
so, too, you should honor
a person of noble conduct, wise,
in whom are established
      composure
      & patience,
even though
his birth may be lowly.

Let donors build
pleasant hermitages
and there invite the learned to stay.
Let them make reservoirs
   in dry forests
and walking paths
   where it's rough
Let them, with a clear, calm awareness,
give food, drink, snacks,
clothing, & lodgings
to those who've become
   straightforward.

Just as a hundred-peaked,
   lightning-garlanded,
thundering cloud,
raining on the fertile earth,
fills the plateaus & gullies,
   even so
a person of conviction & learning,
   wise,
having stored up provisions,
satisfies wayfarers
with food & drink.
Delighting in distributing alms,
   'Give to them!
   Give!'
   he says.
That
is his thunder,
like a raining cloud's.
That shower of merit,
   abundant,
rains back on the one
   who gives.

Nyom Chanroth reported that the new of his team came in because anothers mother died yesterday. The new arrival was himself ordained for 3 years and married a woman of the village recently and found so pleasing work.

The the donors of the building, as a matter of tradition and noble conduct, joined the merits of the funeral fest of the workers mother with support.
