Atma came accross that the function seemingly saves a smaller one of the first upload, meaning if the picture would be replaced, still a old small-version seems to stay stored, Nyom Moritz , not sure if a change here would be useful and easy possible. ( sample, 1. pic here https://forum.sangham.net/index.php?topic=2375.msg23452#msg23452 , browser datas had been deleted to check if a matter of own browser)

Is the small image now shown correct on your decice?
Actually, I wonder why it did not work even after deleting browser cache. If there is no old version of the small file in the browser cache, and the big image has been changed (or re-uploded, touched on the server, even if it is still the same), then the small image should be re-calculated on the server, and the new version sent.
The browser cache version of a downloaded image should be valid for one hour.
If having just downloaded the small image within the last hour, and then re-uploading the big picture, and checking the small image again, it will be loaded from the browser cache.
But after one hour, or after deleting the browser cache, the small image should be requested new from the server. The server would check that the big image has changed and calculate a new version of the small image before sending it.
I tried and tested here, and it seems to work as it should.
