Upasika Lang, day for day, year for year, rejoices to lead all their grandchildren to make daily merits. The children enjoy if mostly, at the beginning most of them could not even really walk.
Joy to share others, of what grandmother is willing to let them (and it's mostly all they desire), made them thinking by their own and test out own choices.
Sometimes Atma tested, better encouraged them, to give up own, like a piece of snack they just hold for themselves. After a while, "requested" giving of own, worked for the most, and made them even more joyful about their skill.
Today the oldest, she might be now 10, 11 years, had made a garland from the gardens jasmine bush for her self.
As the grandmother and grandchildren did their morning joy of giving alms, the young girl stood away a little and possible thinking of what now doing with the beloved garland, she asked her grandmother whether she can give her "juwels" to the monk. "Just give it. The monk will place it at the Ashram and it will reach the Devas." And joyfully she placed her garland on the alms bowl after the others had received Anumodana.
So the young girl left the good nest of traditions today for the first total fly on her own and certain reached the fruit of heavenly existence with it, returned with conviction that she can.
