Moritz: I think it's related to k'nyom (speaking out the "k" here), which means "I" and is used in normal colloquial language to speak of oneself. So not really sure how this relates to "former relative" etymologically.

Right joy with oneself, by giving up holding control outwardly, joy, pamojja, which is a path element, develops on a blameless notion of self, one can say a Brahma-heart, a pure, with no back-pulls toward worldly issues.

Many might know the Sutta where the Sublime Buddha taught Ven. Sariputta, that it is for seeking seclusion, from time to time, right, proper earned, seclusion, that faithful householder go after good deeds toward the Sangha, the Buddha-family at larg.

In some cases such blameless care and huge sacrifices, at time complete, work out fruit and path, lasting attainments, unshakable attainments, behind states of bliss and foundation of pleasing dwelling, Jhanas.

May Nyom, here, later, there, where ever, always strive forward, when leaving one, never return back, but head forward toward highest release, and the name Khemīsanī, "peaceful/secure female Isī (Sage, hermit) should be never seen as something asked for beautification, but as means for proper, toward highes release pulling support as perfect object of identification and reminder on those qualities. While many would not go further the sample of Visakha, Nyom might follow the Buddhas wishes for his disciples, of any kind, at least Non-return here within.

A long time already, those bodies would no more be compound, already long decayed, if such deeds wouldn't have took place for long times, in the past, back to the Sublime Buddha and the whole Noble lineages.

May all take part on this invitation to rejoice with huge merits and give leave for what ever desired further good ways and strives, how ever they might look for one not much duty bond backwardly.

Piti Sutta: Rapture

Then Anathapindika the householder, surrounded by about 500 lay followers, went to the Blessed One and, on arrival, having bowed down to him, sat to one side. As he was sitting there the Blessed One said to him, "Householder, you have provided the community of monks with robes, alms food, lodgings, & medicinal requisites for the sick, but you shouldn't rest content with the thought, 'We have provided the community of monks with robes, alms food, lodgings, & medicinal requisites for the sick.' So you should train yourself, 'Let's periodically enter & remain in seclusion & rapture.' That's how you should train yourself."

When this was said, Ven. Sariputta said to the Blessed One, "It's amazing, lord. It's astounding, how well put that was by the Blessed One: 'Householder, you have provided the community of monks with robes, alms food, lodgings, & medicinal requisites for the sick, but you shouldn't rest content with the thought, "We have provided the community of monks with robes, alms food, lodgings, & medicinal requisites for the sick." So you should train yourself, "Let's periodically enter & remain in seclusion & rapture." That's how you should train yourself.'

"Lord, when a disciple of the noble ones enters & remains in seclusion & rapture, there are five possibilities that do not exist at that time: The pain & distress dependent on sensuality do not exist at that time. The pleasure & joy dependent on sensuality do not exist at that time. The pain & distress dependent on what is unskillful do not exist at that time. The pleasure & joy dependent on what is unskillful do not exist at that time. The pain & distress dependent on what is skillful do not exist at that time. When a disciple of the noble ones enters & remains in seclusion & rapture, these five possibilities do not exist at that time."

[The Blessed One said:] "Excellent, Sariputta. Excellent. When a disciple of the noble ones enters & remains in seclusion & rapture, there are five possibilities that do not exist at that time: The pain & distress dependent on sensuality do not exist at that time. The pleasure & joy dependent on sensuality do not exist at that time. The pain & distress dependent on what is unskillful do not exist at that time.
