Just visiting the building side a motorbike came up the path... unbelievable... "We came to venerate Lok-Ta"... "Why do you think that there is no entrance for bikes and cars?..."
Certain ashamed the younger couple, wishing to follow up, even abounded shoes and socks, following like the monk walks infront up to the Ashram.
Like most of Upasaka
Nidamony s online disciples, they came from a secular background, desiring to learn Samadhi forthe sake of leading a pleasure life.
Like always, the talk was 'just' on right view and the different between right and wrong, the basics, dukkha, gratitude...
Most fascinating are ideas of "there are no Devas, Brahmas" while eager wishing to reach Samadhi, their spheres. It's like rejecting Irish but wishing to gain success in Irland.
Both, especially the younger man, who once served in the ministry, later went for own business, did a lot of effort to try to follow words which had been total controversy to of what they thought to the the Buddhas way, the way toward end of suffering: Brahmacariya.
After maybe two hours of Dhamnadiscussion and encouragements, the visitors, who did already the second effort to find the Ashram and previously failed, returned then different delight back again, wishing to soon come again "to do Samadhi" which told, that if looking for silent place, better booking a room at Sihanuk. Encouraged toward real Sila, metta and promised that it will lead toward heavens and Brahma joy, even beyong, they left.
May all rejoice with the huge merits done, having maybe found back from the dark sciences world toward heavens, Brahmas and path to highest real-ease.
