Weekend and Sila day: high alertness since it's doing-evil-time. Again cutting wood and villages up to look for certain leaves means that fires can be expected.

As the commander of the rangers asked for once, Atma again informed him: he telling "they don't listen to us..."

So preparing forthe monks "care on dwelling duty", moving up to the hill for soon required fire fight, as black rain all around already (meaning already near).

 កូណាស្រាប់តែនឹកឃើញថាធ្លាប់ចង់ជិះសេះលេង។ ប៉ុន្តែមាន តែកន្លែងជិះសេះ និងបង្រៀន។ កូណាចង់ជិះដោយតម្រិះខ្លួនឯង។
កូណា នឹកឃើញគោមួយ នៅអាស្រម ហេតុអី លឺសម្លេងកណ្តឹងវា តែរកមើលឃើញតែស្រមោល ស្រាប់តែឈរ បាំងដើមឈើបាត់។

Sañña, remembering, perceiving...

Once Atma had been in Preah Vihear, old villager told that in the old there had been a "Brang" couple, he always riding a water-buffalo and she always riding a hourse.

People asking Atma if he would accept a buffalo, where told that in short there would be no more land to feed buffaloes, and a year later, like here, all had been sold away.

As told, there is a bull around here, especially at night, but a very physical (althought as well never seen when near, just hearing his laud voice) and rebellion, not follow his owner (the one leg wood cutter) at all, seeking for female everywhere.

Many of the older villager are natives, Sui tribe, and voodoo is total common everywhere in mountain and forest area. The other half are former Khmer Rouge soldiers, and some Vietnamese settler. The rest are just land trader, hire, cut, sell, come and go. It's Naga-land, and of course do those without any virtue experience all kind of things, are haunted and hunt, cast away and being cased away. Forest means resistance next animal realm.

So much better to focus on metta and breath. No way to point out a way upwardly and not leaded toward conductive rituals: Sila, just out of faith.

Just told Bhante: "In only short most will be used as soldiers again, there or there, where ever demand arises, for those with money for such." At corona times the monkey had been caught here and sold out out. What ever demanded, this lands can provide, indebted on all sides.

All around strong smog, not even seeing till Aural mountain, hard to breath and all around hot and dry skin.

All perfect to develop disenchantment and Saddha (surrender, giving up the world and it's stupidity everywhere).

Much metta practice and Anapanasati, Nyom. Letting go of wishing to control of what's out of control and spirals to decay anyway. Every breath a degree more cool, laid away one layer.

Good to take Nyom Sukhavipula within the undertaking, as he carries some good amount of anger in his belly since some time.

Taking a role in the Brahma-vihara is a good role-game idea.

On a high peak, some days ago, between chain-saw noise and karaoke, Atma went down to the noodle-soup seller kiln, right on the foot of the hill. Patiently, friendly and thankful he received some "heavy" encouragements and picture of what might be result of doing heedless on, if not coming to mind.

Since then, right after, the valley grew silent again, not even any sound aside of the harvesting machines of the sugarcane fields from far, at sun down.

Since some weeks no more seeing much benefit go for alms (after ~10 years without a break unless bodily not able), people slowly start to worry, think, asking Bhante whether Atma is sick. Bhante repeating Atmas answer, on last alms round: "Atma is well, Nyom. But there is a sickness in the village.", of what the grandmother quick understood.

Great hornbills, peacock and gibbons, as well as countless birds currently delight this days here, still not overtaken by fire and destruction.

People all over are more and more used to just consume, run away if real sacrifices and deeds are necessary and the countless overings of fake make easy catch.

Atma guesses that after coming Vassa, as tendency might not change, and fast-food takes over fast, good to return on the road again. But, of course, not for sure.

The wheel of Mara, taking, trade,... beloved "Slak Grid" leaves, for what villagers, to easy find, use to burn the forest, has season. Coming with red ants (waver ants) other ants and eggs of them, harvest in forest, today in factury manner alike.

Orchid time while the land is burning, caught in fake golden prisons of old merits, most never face the first Noble Truth timely, the most required teaching for an escape from the wheel, down played by most and ignorance.

Heat and cold, in wheels, wind and fires, influenza, virus, malaria time. Incapable and not used to invest for harvest, also bush-meet and hunting time, while buying and transporting water for daily need for 10$/m3 in a land of most rain in the world and ever flowing streams next. Cow boys on field and even childen 100m to school on motor bike with phones and snacks.

Bhante Khemananda , told that there will be much lesser space for sacrifices toward the Sanghas-heritage and work around it, encouraged to seek seclution and develop metta instead, took the occasion, the encouraging, and asked to spend the day and night in the forest. Being given firm approve and given leave he joyfully left to go for highest merits.
