Error accuses now also on the German start-page http://accesstoinsight.eu/de/index althought not such a uge page at all and nothing really changed longer time.

As it seems, it's again the large pts-file, listed via changes-plugin and also prased to build up the list.

Atma has removed the large content and uploaded the current edit-file as zip.

When editing and saving larger pages, like book 006 here, sometimes the error:

A PCRE backtrack error occured. Try to increase the pcre.backtrack_limit in php.ini

would be displayed after execution and mostly the content saved is incomplete.

That looks like it has to do with the new PHP version.
These "errors" are actually "only" warnings, which are only shown to admins when they are logged in but not for everyone else. So nothing is really broken yet. It is just that the new PHP version has become a bit more strict in checking certain conditions which might lead to an error when the programmer was not careful enough, and so it is warning about something that looks a bit uncertain.

I suspect that the update reminder is already pointing to the solution. I am doing a backup of the current state now and will try to install the update tomorrow when it is finished.

It seems there was a small update from "2018-04-22a" to "2018-04-22b", probably on the same day.

So there was some small change for PHP 7.3 compatibility. I am trying to install that now.

But looking closer now, the warning messages Bhante got came from the "Data Plugin", which is already the newest version.
Seems like the Data plugin would need some changes, too, to stop the warning messages.

Okay, I upgraded to "2018-04-22b", which had only some very smal changes in two files.

But just as assumed, the warning messages stemming from the Data plugin persist.

I am not very familiar with PHP, especially what has changed in the new version, so I don't know how to fix it now.
But as already mentioned, I think the new PHP version is just checking certain conditions more strictly and giving warning advice, even though no real error happens. So it is probably nothing to worry much for the time being.

I have opened an issue on the GitHub page

for the Data plugin. Maybe someone will have an idea on what to change to satisfy PHP 7.3.

It seems that the matter above is related mostly to the "include" mod, possible not in DWs own sphere.

Possible was a memory issue. Having moved 1GB from sangham to ati now, and having made a "clear temp memeory" by saving the admin page, it seems to be fine for now.

Trying to open https://sangham.net/km/tech/delta-chat/string.xml/index gives an Error 500 for Atma. It contains 663 "include" request. Maybe thats the issue, but thete had been larger, thought on dictionaryies.
